1. FYI - Easybib does not always make a correct citation.
2. We double-checked, when you are giving the edition for a book - use the number not the word. Example 3rd ed., 2nd ed., 10th ed.!

- Go back to OSLIS - what type of citation format will you choose?
- Fill fields and create citation

Save in Word
c. Database - WorldBookOnline- UN: coronado; Pswd: tbird- Click on ADVANCED
- Search for "ethics"
- Click on first article
- Look at Left Column
- Click on "Citation Information" --MLA format
- Copy and Paste the citation into your word doc
(in the rt. order)

1. Do your t-chart
2. Make your MLA citation for each article read. Place this at the top of your t-chart
3. Look at the right column - your thoughts and questions about the article. Circle your best question. If you don't have a question written on the right column, think about your opinions and formulate a question. Write it at the end of the right column

Notes from the articleInclude Things Like: 1. Main Ideas and Themes 2. Words that are new to you from the article - words you need to look up and write the definition 3. Quotes that you like 4. Stick to the facts of the article Because the article are long and very involved, this should be several pages long in your composition book. Write this are you are reading - do not wait and write it after you have read the article. Or, read the article through once, then read it again and take notes. |
