Mrs. gomolsky's Classes - companies
STEP ONE:
You have five (5) minutes to do the following:
1. Open a word document.
2. At the top type your Name the name of your Company.
3. On a new line, type
Gale Username: coronado Password: tbird
Infotrac Password: tbird
4. Minimize document (click on minus sign in right corner)
5. Open up Mozilla (Internet)
6. Find our Library Web page the quickest way you know.
e.g. go through EPISD to Coronado Web page, Google Coronado Library, etc.)
7. Hold your cursor over the TEACHERS tab and click on Mrs. Arias' Classes
*****Keep all of your TABS open so you can TOGGLE back and forth
LOOK AT WALL SCREEN TO SEE EXAMPLE

3. Look in top right hand corner for "View complete list"
4. Lists Top 100 companies each with link to company website
5. Is your company listed? IF SO, remember this site

STEP THREE:
1. Click on GALE - "Student Resources in Context"
2. Find and Click on "Business and Economics"
3. Click on "View All"
4. Is your company listed? Remember this site

STEP FOUR:
1. Click on GOOGLE -
2. Search company name - adding Inc or Company or Corporation etc.
3. Click on "ABOUT US" - Top of Page; Bottom of Page;
4. Explore links about "Mission" or "History"
5. Global Presence - search WITHIN company site - anything?
OR
6. Look for LOCATIONS tab - count/figure out yourself
7. Can also look for TAB called "Responsibility"
8. Can search company site for "Human Resources"-average education level of employees
9. You can also try the Bureau of Labor & Statistics and search by type of jobs e.g. cashiers, service workers, etc.

2. Type in any number
3. Select INTERNET, Then "WEB PAGE"
4. Watch demonstration --
5. Insert needed information
6. Click on "Create Citation Below"
7. Click on "Copy All"
8. Paste into your WORD document
